Abstrak : Waste Heat Boiler (WHB) at PT. Petrokimia Gresik function to generate pressurized steam that will be used to rotate the blade-turbine, which then generated electric power. During the last 16 years, there has been no studies that discuss the value of reliability, safety, and quality at this WHB. Whereas for the petrochemical industry itself, those three factors must be considered, because it is closely related to plant performance and safety. In this study, the value of reliability, safety, and quality processes of the WHB are going to calculate. The initial steps should be done is to identify the instruments in the WHB. Instruments are then grouped in the control loops which consists of transmitter, logic solver, and final control elements. That is where data collection began, which later will be processed and the calculation of these data so that we will get the value of reliability, safety, and quality at WHB. From the calculation result shows that the reliability value of 18% in the first year of operations WHB, while the value of probability of failure on demand (PFD) of 0.052247 per year which means in the first years of operation WHB, the possibility of failure of 0.052247 times the failure . While the quality calculation shows that the process at WHB is under controlled conditions.
